Booker and Ayton Actually Could Be the Next Kobe and Shaq

DeAndre Ayton was selected number one overall by the Phoenix Suns in the 2018 NBA Draft, and he's wasting no time making his voice heard. He compared the newly formed duo of Devin Booker and himself to the historic pair of Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal. While many are quick to dismiss this as arrogant banter, what if we entertain the thought? Could this really be the NBA's next power duo, and one of legendary proportions at that? That means LeBron James has four months and another postseason to add on to his already legendary pedigree. We'll start off with a category LeBron trails in: championship rings.  At 33 years old, Michael Jordan was putting the finishing touches on the second of three straight championships, which was his 5th championship win in as many appearances. This was Jordan's 12th season in the league. Kobe Bryant also had all five of his rings at age 33....
